A MESSAGE FROM MANAGEMENT ABOUT LONGER THAN EXPECTED DELAYS ON BUSY NIGHTS
We are so sorry if you experienced a longer than expected delay in waiting for your order. Our food has attracted the entire Wasatch Front, which has caused over-capacity delays on the nights of Fridays, Saturdays, and some holidays. We try our very best to prepare by maximizing how many employees we can staff in a tight kitchen and are always initiating efficiency improvements. Yet, we still find that we have to selectively pause some of our ordering platforms for some of these evenings to be able to better serve other ordering platforms, especially our dine-in guests. Red Basil has been experiencing ever increasingly more record-breaking sales nights due to consistent high food quality and our ability to continuously enhance efficiency as sales do increase.
We now recognize that we are plateauing in our ability to improve efficiency without affecting quality, which we will never allow food quality to diminish (every once in a blue moon, there is that innocent human mistake that we all make, which is the reason for this Contact Us Form). Due to this high demand and desire to further serve our community, we are in the process of opening additional branches in the valley to allocate some of the volume to other locations to alleviate these delays from the extremely high demand. At the same time, we are still running into unexpected challenges left-and-right from our current societal circumstances (some having been revealed in mainstream news and others purposely withheld, yet have all been affecting small businesses), such as our to-go container manufacturers experiencing shutdowns, distributors’ produce from California ruined by terrorist groups, staff intermittently having to quarantine from exposure, our API integration company having technical issues from their office in quarantine, etc. We do assure you that we are doing our very best to overcome each of these hurdles. This whole process feels like trying to launch a rocket during a serious natural disaster, but we are not giving up!
